Plate 1 · the Fire Dragon Cupping set — a glazed earthenware vessel, scalloped rim, moxa burning inside. Not a glass cup: nothing is vacuum-pumped; the heat and the moxa travel with the hand.
Lit before every session, by a trained practitioner — never at home.
寒者热之 通则不痛
What the vessel actually does
Fire Dragon Cupping is not one technique but six held in one hand. The vessel is heated, then worked along the meridians while the moxa burns inside it — warmth, pressure and scraping arrive at the same place at the same moment.
People come in for cold hands, a neck that will not turn, a lower back that stiffens by mid-afternoon — the heaviness that will not lift. Heat applied through a moving edge does something static heat cannot.
We are a single room. One client per slot, no assistant, no second bed. That is why the schedule below is real rather than a request form — when a time is taken, it is taken.

Paid at the studio, cash or transfer. Refund must be asked for on the spot, before you leave.
Fire Dragon Cupping is not the glass-cup cupping most people have had: the vessel is a scalloped earthenware pot heated by moxa burning inside it, worked along the meridians by hand — warmth, pressure and scraping at once, no vacuum pump, no flame against the body surface — the moxa heat sinks in deep.
Needle techniques (acupuncture, press-tack, auricular needling, catgut embedding) and device-based therapies (bioelectric therapy) are not carried out in this studio; if your case calls for them, I will explain what is possible face to face.

Questions people ask first
问
Can I use my health fund?
Often, yes — it depends on your fund, your level of cover, whether the specific treatment is covered and whether your waiting period is served. We give you an itemised receipt with the correct item codes; you upload it in your fund's app and your fund pays whatever your cover allows, straight to your account.
问
What should I bring?
Loose clothing you don't mind getting oil on, and your health fund card if you have one. Towels and covers are provided.
问
Do I need to book?
Yes, in practice — one client per slot. Walk-ins are welcome when a slot happens to be free. Online booking is open 24/7, or call 0425 666 183.
问
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Some therapies are suitable and some are not — acupoint selection and strong moxibustion in particular need adjusting. Tell us your stage when booking and we will advise.
